Karachi, Pakistan - NED University of Engineering & Technology held its 32nd Convocation on November 16, 2023, to celebrate the graduation of its Batch of 2019. The event was attended by a large gathering of students, faculty, parents, and other guests, including the Caretaker Chief Minister of Sindh, Justice Maqbool Baqar.
In his address to the graduating students, Justice Baqar commended them for their hard work and dedication and urged them to use their knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on the world. He also praised NED University's commitment to excellence in education and research.
Vice Chancellor Dr. Sarosh Lodhi also congratulated the graduating students and their families. He highlighted the university's achievements in the past year, including its ranking among the top universities in Pakistan and the region. He also spoke about the university's plans for the future, which include expanding its academic programs and research facilities.
During the convocation, degrees were awarded to over 2,000 students from all disciplines offered at the university. The top-performing students in each discipline were also awarded special honors.
